The Yamamoto HRB1000 Hydraulic Rock Splitter is a powerful and efficient tool designed for rock removal and hard rock excavation without the need for Hydraulic Rock Breaking or Explosives Blasting.

While AutoStem Non-Detonating Cartridges remain a very common and safe method for breaking rock, some sites prefer to use Rock Splitting units and expanding grouts.

The Yamamoto Rock Splitter provides a safe, hydraulic-powered method to break rock.

Based on the wedge and feather principle, it utilizes hydraulic force to split the rock instead of relying on impact. This makes it an ideal solution rock splitting, and controlled excavation in challenging environments.

How Does the Hydraulic Rock Splitter Work?

The splitter is typically mounted on a standard excavator, utilizing the carrier’s hydraulic system for operation. The Rock Splitter can also be adapted to cranes or custom carriers depending on the project’s needs. Thanks to its simple installation, the rock splitting machine can be quickly transferred between different carriers, ensuring flexibility across multiple excavation projects.
